I was struggling with an anxiety cat who was scratching way too much. After trying deterrent calm down treats, I opted to try a scratch pad to at least let him scratch and get out some of the anxiety. It actually worked great and he gravitated right for the scratch! I have it on the side of the couch, I are so happy that my sofa will be protected from my cute little scratchy monsters. Granted, every cat is different, I am very pleased with my purchase and will reup once this one wears down.

My kittens does not scratch the couch and they scratch the pad instead. It is sturdy and easy to setup. it doesn’t come out from the couch when kittens are scratching the pad. One of my kittens also likes laying on top of the handle because the pad is comfortable. Good purchasing!

Sofa Protector with pockets. There are No pockets. Sisal felt. It has No felt. In the store’s image you see a fabric extension to hold the scraper on the side of the sofa. There is No such fabric. I ‘d have to wear it myself. That’s work for me and spending for me. The price does not match what it is and the image does not match either. I’m not returning it because that’s why I have the extra job of going to the post office but my assessment is very bad.

We actually used this to replace where the cat had scratched another post bare. We liked the flexibility of it as well as the sturdiness. It worked great. Rubbed with a little catnip, and kitty is scratching it like crazy! Keeps her happy and healthy and saves our furniture.
