Worked fine straight from the box. The dog seemed to be interested in it. The ball would roll around for about 60-120 seconds before unscrewing itself from the motions and falling apart. Wouldn’t let the dog play with this unsupervised.

5 stars . didn’t break on day 1. type C recharging. appears well built, but in no means chew proof or indestructible. dogs and cats will be interested and engage . would recommend buying if your pets like to play.
