Works. Connection is stable. But my computer hangs on boot with it. So I can only plug it in after computer is already booted. Though another computer boots fine with it… But another computer has strong built in wifi and doesn’t require this stick… Incompatible computer: hp ellitebook 8440p

Installation was flawless (Win11) due to the fact a few mb USB drive is available with the drivers when you plugin the dongle, very convenient. Speed is reasonable but not very fast with 40Mb up and down, (40Mb up is limited by my isp) to compare my Asus PCIe card gets 90Mb down and 40Mb up on 2.4g. The connection while testing was 4m away LOS. Surprised by the low latency of 10ms same is with the PCIe card. Now the real test through a two times brick wall with a total of 7 meters away from the router standing on the floor. After adjusting the antenna angle for optimal performance I got 36.6Mb down and 40Mb up. The PCIe card performs here way better but the card have dual optimized directional antennas not fair to compare the data. For the money not bad at all. Almost forgot why I bought the dongle for, 😉 to connect to my simrace steering wheel as a dedicated connection link for telemetry data and buttons. That works as expected low latency and a stable connection.

The device works very well, improves the relative speed of the built-in card in the laptop is more than 100% with the USB 2 standard. The driver is in the device, you need to find like a USB drive (Computer-drives) and there it is. Very fast shipping and delivery. I recommend!
